This Privacy Policy describes how Brownmine Enterprises LLC ("Fundory," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Fundory.ai platform, websites, applications, and related services (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is offered exclusively to users located in the United States. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals located outside the United States. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user outside the United States, we will delete it.
We collect the following categories of information:
Name, email address, password, organization name, role, and similar identifiers provided during registration or account management.
To enable eligibility scoring and proposal generation, we collect organizational data including Employer Identification Number (EIN), financial data (such as annual budget, revenue, and audited financial statements), and the names of leadership personnel and authorized account users.
Documents, narratives, organizational descriptions, program data, and other materials you upload, paste, or generate within the Service.
Billing name, billing address, and payment method details. Card numbers and bank account details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. Fundory does not store full payment card numbers.
Log data, IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, features used, time spent, and referring URLs. This is collected automatically when you interact with the Service.
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, analytics, and to remember your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may impair Service functionality.
Records of your communications with our support, sales, or other personnel.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Fundory uses information you submit to the Service, including organization profile data, uploaded documents, prompts, and Generated Output, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve our artificial intelligence models and the Service. This use is integral to how the Service learns to produce more accurate eligibility scores and higher-quality proposal drafts.
Where reasonably practicable, we apply de-identification, aggregation, and access controls before using data for training. However, you should not submit information to the Service that you are not authorized to share for this purpose. Highly sensitive information, including beneficiary names, individual health information, or third-party confidential information, should not be submitted unless properly authorized.
Information you submit to the Service is not shared with OpenAI or other AI providers for use in their own model training. Our agreements with these providers prohibit them from using your data to train their general-purpose models.
We share information only as described below:
We share information with trusted service providers who perform functions on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your data. Our current sub-processors are:
| Sub-Processor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI, LLC | Large language model processing for eligibility scoring, proposal drafting, and content generation | United States |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing, subscription billing, and fraud prevention | United States |
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. | Cloud hosting, data storage, and infrastructure | United States |
We will update this list as our sub-processors change. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or valid governmental request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
If Fundory is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer that materially affects how your information is handled.
We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.
Fundory does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We retain your information for as long as your account remains active and indefinitely thereafter, until you request deletion. This approach allows you to return to the Service and resume work even after extended periods of inactivity.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 12. Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, we will delete your personal information within thirty (30) days, except for information we are required to retain by law, for fraud prevention, or for legitimate business purposes such as tax and accounting records.
De-identified, aggregated data, and improvements already incorporated into our AI models may be retained indefinitely and used in accordance with this Policy and our Terms of Service.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.
No method of transmission or storage is one hundred percent secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), provides you with the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
By creating an account, you will be automatically enrolled to receive marketing and promotional communications from Fundory at the email address associated with your account. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time by clicking the link or by adjusting your communication preferences in your account settings.
Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional or service-related communications, such as billing notices, security alerts, and updates regarding your account or the Service, which you will continue to receive.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other reasons. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address or by notice posted within the Service at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
